Dragons From Another World
Prologue</u>

15years ago astronomers recorded the destruction of a star via various telescopes around the world. They herald it as one of the most spectacular events in astrological history....

10days ago satellites picked up a massive object heading towards earth, government leaders thought it was an asteroid and voted to keep the information out of the public eye...It was only 2 days before the object was due to arrive that government leaders learned that the object was actually a space craft and saw fit to inform the world of what was approaching...

Over the final 48hours before they're arrival, contact had been established, they learned they were refugees from the destruction of their home world. But still no one knew what the visitors looked like or what they called themselves..........


I sat watching the news for the imitate arrival of Earth's first contact with aliens from another world
"And we go live to the designated landing site in Australia" blares the TV, another reporter in the area starts yapping away..

"I wish they'd just get on with it, why do they insist on talking nonsense" I said to myself.

My name is Sean I was 16 years old, fresh out of School and looking forward to starting at my local college to study mechanics, before trying to apply to join the Royal Air Force to train as an Aircraft Engineer. I was fairly short only about 5' 6", Living in Southern England. I was originally from Glasgow in Scotland. I didn't have many friends but I didn't care.

I sitting in my room glued to my Television watching BBC News 24 for the arrival of our alien visitors praying they really were coming here in peace following the destruction of their home world.

"And here we go, the alien spacecraft is coming down" The camera focuses in on the descending craft as the reporter yaps some more to the viewers at home. I'm on the edge of my bed with my laptop moved to one side as I got closer to my TV again praying this didn't blow up in our faces as I watched live the spacecraft come in for a nice tidy landing.

"And there we go folks, the Alien space craft has landed. I guess were just moments away from discovering who our visitors are and what they look like...err saying that it does look like they are opening up their outer hatch. Government Leaders from 8 of the planets developed nations including our own Prime Minister are approaching the spacecraft...." The reporter continues on. The camera zooms in on the spacecrafts open outer door with the government leaders from the planets most powerful nations all lined up ready to greet our visitors....

I think I felt racing heart stop suddenly when the visitors finally set foot on Earth. "Err folks believe it or not but this is not some computer generated joke. If I didn't know any better I'd say our alien visitors are none other than Dragons from ancient legends, mythology or whatever you want to call it"

I couldn't believe it myself but the TV pictures were staring right back at me. They looked like dragons alright.

My jaw hung open as I just stared at the TV, "huh, Dragons." I muttered

A Dragon I could only guess was the leader of this band of survivors stood there at the entrance of his ship before stepping out followed closely behind by eleven others.
The Dragons were all bipedal, I guessed they were ranging from 6' to 9' in height; some had Horns some had manes a few even had a tail blade at the tip of their tail.  Their scales were a range of colors from Black, Brown, Blue, Green, Gray, Yellow, and Red.

"We're now going to listen in." Came the still stunned voice of the reporter, I guess he was probably as stunned as the rest of the world and could think of anything more to say.

The Camera zoomed in even more as the group of twelve dragons approached the eight most powerful men on the planet. The President of the United States stepped forward...

"Good Afternoon, I'm The President of the United States, on behalf of my fellow world leaders The President's of Russia and France, The Chancellor of Germany, and the Prime Ministers of Canada, The United Kingdom and Japan, and on behalf of the United Nations and the people of world. We welcome you to Earth"
